CCI provides an ASTM E23 indirect verification program. The cost of the indirect verification is
included in the price of our specimens. After testing the specimens and completing the
questionnaire, you may email or fax the questionnaire to CCI. You may return the broken
specimens with the questionnaire or you may furnish digital pictures of the brinelling marks
on the broken specimens. We will contact you to return the broken specimens if the pictures
are not clear enough to complete an accurate evaluation. This process will save your
company the time and expense of returning the broken specimens to CCI when they are not
required.
We provide Charpy consulting by phone, email, or at your site. We are available to visit your
site to prepare your machine for the indirect verification test and to perform the indirect
